Recently, felt my eye sight becomer narrower due to focusing coding too long time.

A wide sea and land, really nice!

When eye sight get narrower, idea will be limited and can't view and analysis problem or issue from more angles.

Penangite Hokkien's Language

Just want to share with you all, I got this from email :)

I have been living in Penang all my life - also known as "The Prince of Wales Island", it is an island which was dominated by the Hokkien clans of the Chinese race. Most people here speaks Hokkien dialect. It was the colloquial communication medium in Penang .. and it has been like this for almost a century. But then, the Hokkien dialect in Penang did not sound a wee bit like those originated from China . It was entirely different from the original. Why ?

Well, that's because Penang 's a multi-cultural place and over the years, the Hokkien dialect somehow had evolved into something different?. into almost like an entirely new language itself. Slangs and shits like that. Just like what the Americans did to the original King's English. So, in conjunction with our national day spirit, I would like to share some of the most commonly used Hokkien slang in Penang .. hope that it will promote better understanding about the unique cultural establishment here?

" kan keh"

direct translation - 'fuck chicken'.

actual meaning - referring to someone who's cynical and selfish, not willing to take even the slightest risk of anything. eg: "Leh ma ler ! Ah Seng kau giak kan keh ah .."

[translation: "Your mother ! Ah Seng is damn timid !"]

"kiong kan "

direct translation - it actually was a short form for "ki ho lang kan ", which means, 'go get yourself fucked by someone'.

actual meaning - an exclamation that was used to vehemently protest

against any disagreement or illogical statements.

eg: "Kiong kan lah ! lu sio kong lim peh be hiau si boh ??"

[translation : "Kiong kan lah ! You think you can fool me ??"]

"bak moy"

direct translation - 'pork porridge'

actual meaning - to undergo the complete and permanent cessation of all

vital functions; i.e. die

eg: "Eh ! Lu lang cai boh ? Ray Charles bak moy liao !"

[translation : "Eh ! Did you guys know ? That Ray Charles is dead !"]

"loo siao"

direct translation - 'rub sperm'

actual meaning - to riot, to rebel, make trouble or go ballistic. Can be

used as adjective, verb or noun.

eg: "That char bor, si peh loo siao, tiam tiam chueh soo ?"

[translation : "That woman, damn rebellious, always look for trouble.."]

"char siao"

direct translation - 'fried sperm'

actual meaning - to disturb or to vex someone

eg: "Mai char siao lah !"

[translation : "Don't disturb me !"]

"kuai lan"

direct translation - 'suave dick'

actual meaning - adjective to describe a very cheeky or obnoxious

person.

eg: "That si ginna si peh kuai lan."

[translation : "That kid is damn obnoxious."]

"apong sin"

direct translation - 'pancake spirit' (pancake is also the secondary

meaning for vagina) actual meaning - a person who's fawning over any

females and willing to do anything for them.

eg: "Ah Piang kau giak apong sin. Peng eu kio chut, boh eng. Char bor

kio chut, eh poey?"

[translation : "Ah Piang damn 'pancake spirit'. When his friends ask him

out, always busy. But when girls ask him out, he'll literally fly out"]

"ciu cheng"

direct translation - 'hand gun'

actual meaning - an adjective to describe someone that is unskillfully

clumsy, delinquent and fucked up.

eg: "Si tua pui, kau giak ciu cheng. Chia pun beh hiau park."

[translation : "That fat ass damn fucked up. Don't even know how to park

a car"]

"tu lan" (also known as T.L.)

direct translation - 'pig's dick'

real meaning - hatefully dislike or angry; pissed.

eg: "Kua tiok ee eh bin ? pun tu lan."

[translation : "It pissed me off even by just a glance of his face."]

"kam lan"

direct translation - 'to fellate'

real meaning - an expression added into questions - to denote something

ridiculous or defies logical understanding.

eg: "Lu choaa lu eh bor chut lai kam lan aa ??"

[translation : "Why the hell do you bring along your wife ??"]

"loh tee"

direct translation - 'bread' (comes from the malay word "roti") real

meaning - an adjective to describe a very slutty, chintzy and

promiscuous female being. Highly derogatory.

eg: "Ah Piang eh chat loh si peh loh tee. Goh lui chap pek tau"

[translation : "Ah Piang's girl is a goddamn slut. Five cents for

eighteen times"] Of course there are more. These are just the common

ones and is good enough for you to understand more about Penang . It's a

beautiful place.

Not A Great Dragon, Won't Crossing The River

Recall back the overseas working experience.

Once, during the flight from Bangkok (Survanaboom Airport ) to Malaysia (KLIA-LCCT), I met a Massage Guru.

Usually I back with my own and probably will sit together with other flight passenger.
That trip, I met him ( forget what is his name :P ) , really a Massage Lecturer, he started from a small massage business and now grow to several branches already.

He told me, usually those marriage, who will help their husband or wife massage. Thus, they are looking for massage courses. Here its come the business.

He went to Bangkok to learn up and experience the massage technique. According to him, he would want to try out the massage technique all around the world. What's amazing idea.

After we talk for several topic, and my turn to spoke why I went to Bangkok for so long period ( that time around 14th month in Bangkok )

I was telling him, I just a normal programmer working oversea for client project.
He just smile and said in Chinese: " Not A Great Dragon, Won't Crossing The River "
A proverb in chines means that only qualify person will be selected for certain task.

woooo, first time I heard from others ( may be I praise him a lot ka ka ka..)
but in my heart, just LOL... That time still struggling in the 'deep river' and suddenly heard this spiritual support sentences, it really help me to generate confident and energy to win over the obstacle.

Fortunately , I survive at last. Working overseas is great and let me experience more in my life.
Yet, don't always visiting the same places.. else.. really bored.

There are lot special strangers you will met up if you travel in the international flight! It is fun to know more about them!

Experiece VBscript Trojan

Last fews day suddenly found a VBS file generated in my pendrive.
with my curiosity, I open it up and shocked with it!

and this line, that populate the vbscripts to my pen drive!
Besides, this file is populated to other system path such as windows, windows\system, windows\system32 and so on.

Well, I am shocked, but excited about it!
And I am looking into VBscript in my machine and found that actualy vbscripts use in lot of field, including IIS setup, Project deployment, Photoshop batch action and so on.

It seem nice to 'play' since I am a vb programmer =)

And few days later, I saw a website been hacked by this method again,
that website changed to be IFRAME lines across the screen.

Further tracing into it, It is from "http://www.goldunix.com/test.htm"
This Trojan is using appending Windows Objects in variable and created the object via CreateObject() function

It use the "Microsoft.Adodb.Stream" Get method to load the IFRAME from the hacker site.
Then this trojan using createobject("Scripting.FileSystemObject","") and execute the svchost.exe and received via this svchost from net.

Then using Createobject("Shell.Application","") and execute ShellExecute function to create more svchost to retrieve and insert rubbish IFrame code that block the original website.

All this process is from a HTML file which having vbscript inside and unluckly user allow their Active X control in their IE to allow the trojan activated.

I tested that html file and no issue for my FireFox =) ha ha ha...
but IE user have to be careful in allowing unkonwn ActiveX ya !

Trojan is danger, but is fun to a programmer, ha ha ha...... ( just kidding to some non-IT guys )

Blog Via Email

Since sometimes ago, I came across a website or concept named moBlog ( mobile blogging )
This concept will let user to create their blog content in the real time.

User can snap picture via their favorite pda/mobile phone and send it as MMS to blog hosting and published it.

After some months ( Today :P ) , I just knew that Blogger having this features long time ago.
I just created a simple content via my pda and sent to my Blogger Mobile address ( your-blogger-id.your-given-mobileblog-name@blogger.com)

The content will be stored as a draft , and I will able to review and published when I got a line with me, or may be just directly write my blog via my pda.

That is great service! So that I no need to remember what I need to write for my blog and can do this on the real time.
